The weekend

In the weekend louis went to my house after the disco then in the morning we got up and played on the Xbox it was fun. After that we went my brother jonty's hockey at pukekoe for
About an hour and a half "it was hot as there". Then we got home and played in the pool
And other things like cricket. At about 9:00 we went to bed that was so fun that day.
The next day we stayed home at 3:30 louis left and me my mum and brothers dropped
Me at sam's. we went to rugby weigh in then Sam dropped me home.

Clevedon school Swimming sports!

On 5th of April 2013 it was swimming sports for kowri team swimming sports!
First race was one length free style:Harry Wood from rm 7 came first! Louis Anderson from rm 7 came second! Well done them!!
Second race was two lengths free style: Louis Anderson came first and Miranda Rex from rm 7 and Ella from rm 7 came second in their race!! Good work!!
Third race was 1 length Back stroke: Aria Tohill from rm 7 came first in her race and Kate Eascate from rm 7 came first in her race.
Fourth race was two lengths back stroke:Miranda came first from rm 7.
Fifth race was 1 length breath stroke: louis Anderson from rm 7 came first and Ruby sexton came first as well!
Sixth race was 2 lengths breath stroke: Ella Freemon witch is me and

Sport with Siaose (week 11)

Today was sport with Siaose and we played t-ball. It was our last time with Siaose for the term which I thought was pretty sad but it was a great game. There were to classes room 7 and room 4. Room 4 girls vs room 7 girls and we played 2 games. First room 4 won but then room 7 won the second round so it was a draw. With the boys it was exactly the same they even drew. So in the end I had a great time.

Being a class captain

I'm Tobin and I got voted for being class captain. Being a class captain is really fun because you get to organise and choose people for something, for example me and the other class captain, Miranda, had to choose people who would go in swimming sport class relays. Our class came 3rd.

Kauri Team Swimming sports

Last Friday we had a successful swimming sports. Here are the results from the heats:

One length freestyle- Louis came second in his heat, Harry came first in his heat
Two lengths freestyle- Louis came first in his heat, Miranda came second in her heat
One length backstroke- Aria came first in her heat, Kate came first in her heat
Two lengths backstroke- Miranda came third in her heat
One length breaststroke- Louis and Ruby came first in their heats
Two lengths breaststroke- Charlotte, Ella and Miranda came first in their heats

Our class came third in the class relays, thanks to Miranda, Ruby, Louis and Sam.

We also had fun with all the non competitive events like getting dressed in the water, potato and spoon race, noodle race and more.

Statistics

in room 7 we are learning about Statics with Whaea Maree. She is a student teacher so she is taking over Miss Thomas for a bit. Any way she is teaching us about Statics. First in Statics we learnt how to use a collection sheet so we could collect our data next to each persons name in our class. Then we put that information in to a tally chart. Tall charts are used for putting information in so that it is easier to read. Then we put the information from the tally chart in to a bar and pie graph on pages. when we were done our graphs we made five questions to go with them so another person can answer them and get better at statics. And after that we put all our statics stuff in a slide show.

On 5th of April kowri team is having swimming sports and there is going to be a sausage sisal
And guess what there's baps and ice cream for the little ones and the best part is entertamint
There will be race to race and a few fun activity for the swimmers who Sign up plus there will

Easter weekend

On Saturday

I went to Sylvia park and we met my nanny and poppy for lunch for lunch I had one bowl of pasta and a drink of organic juice and my nanny and poppy took me home to there house to stay the night and my parents came over for dinner that night. then in the early morning it was about 3.00am in the morning and went to my nanny and poppies bedroom and said loudly wake up wake up its Easter come on get up. I'm going easter egg finding and I found at there house one Humpty Dumpty egg and 2 million ting eggs and one chocolate Easter bunny and I gave the Easter bunny to my mum and dad. when I got home at 10:00 and went Easter egg finding there which I found like I honestly cannot remember.

Easter

From Friday to Tuesday it was Easter and I go to see my uncle Andrew and two cousins Daniel and Nicole who are both older than me. we went with them on there new boat we went fishing and the boat would not start so we put our lines down and kept fishing and my uncle called a couple of his friends and then after a wile he tried to start it again and it worked so we went back and packed up and then we went to a few places and got some thing to eat and then went home home to bed. For the next two days we were at pony club camp down at Hunua pony club witch has a river and some really cool jumps, the second night we played spotlight in the dark and rain and on the Monday my antsy and uncle Judy and Pete for lunch.
