On Monday 24th June we went to the museum with the Kauri team. We have been studying ancient civilisations and their systems this term so we went to have a look at the ancient artefacts and have a classroom session on ancient Egypt and archaeology. We had fun in that class remaking a potter vase, an ancient roman toilet seat, building a sieve and learning how to use an ancient egyptian drill.
Here are some photos of our trip.

The day our buddy letters came.
Today we learnt about our buddy class at Point View School. First we looked at their blog and wiki to see what things they are learning this term.
Harry and Phoebe were our posties delivering our mail. It was cool getting out own envelope addressed to us individually. Each of us got a letter and a photo (now, that was great- we now know what our buddies looks like).
We spent our writing session reading our letters about our buddies and writing replies. Dominic thought it was cool that his buddy likes the same things he does. We are all looking forward to communicating with our buddies more often and maybe we can get together sometime later in the year. That would be really cool!
Cyber safety
Today I went and watched a cyber safety performance by some people by Tai and Laura it was based on a true story I think it was cool. Because I have read it and its the same but with songs . I Really liked the characters because some of the scenes were really cool and funny at the same time. I enjoyed it so much as well as the hot seat asking questions I learnt a lot from that performance some of those hot seat questions were a little weird my favourite character was Dylan he was kind but then mean that was a great performance it was cool.
